Dare You To by Katie McGarry
*****
Dare You To is Beth's story, and I was so glad that her story was next. She was one of my favorite characters from Pushing the Limits, and my heart went out to her and the messed up word that was hers. I loved how Isaiah took care of her and was her BFF so I was a little shocked when he was not her intended love interest. With that said I fell in love with Ryan he is perfect for Beth. Their story is full of ups and downs, misunderstandings and busy body Gwen. Beth is such a sweet heart underneath all the hurt and pain I loved watching her prosper, have growing pains and fall head over hills in love with Ryan. Ryan is awesome he is in love with Beth and baseball. Beth however is not an easy person to get to know in fact she is more of an brick wall than interested in him. But Ryan doesn't know the meaning of the word to fail so he is after her full force. As he tries to figure her out he sees beneath the rude mouth and goth look to a person he can't live without. All is not as easy as it seems Ryan has family pressures . Beth has family, trust and love issues. It felt great to get back to these characters. We also get spend more time with Noah, Echo, and Isaiah. Now I can't wait for Isaiah's story it is next and the book has two chapters of his story. So Good!

Rapunzel Untangled by Cindy C. Bennett
*****

*Claps Hands* That has to be my very favorite retailing. Loved ever minute of it, loved the way Mrs. Bennett works in the old fairy tale with a contemporary flare. I wasn't quite sure it would work or could be done with the Rapunzel story, but wow kudos to her for doing such a wonderful job. I didn't want to put this one down, kept wondering what was going to happen and how. I loved the characters too especially Fab or I should say Fane. He was so sweet, curious, caring, chivalrous, just an all around amazing guy. He was so concerned with Rapunzel her feelings and if she would be okay. He wanted her to have and get the most out of life and he wanted to help her anyway he could. Rapunzel is stuck in a tower with no knowledge of the world around her. I am going to have to be vague I don't want to spoil the story. Since Rapunzel is so secluded in her world she is naive , but really a sweet person, and quite courageous considering her situation. Rapunzel's "mother" Gothel was a piece of work, ugh she was just a mess played her part convincingly, but what a rotten person. I loved the romance in this story it was really sweet and endearing. This is was a really fun and engaging read that I did not want to put down. If you are one who loves to read fairy tale retellings this is one you will not wat to miss. I was fortunate to read this as and arc from Cedar Fort, but I plan to buy it to add to my personnel library.

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
100 stars WOW!! One of my very favorite books, this author can really write! :)

JUST WOW! Just finished this amazing book, and JUST WOW! I need time to process it all. Beautiful, romantic, heart wrenching......read it!

I think I am ready......

This is one of if not the most beautiful love stories I have ever read. This is also one of the most real raw emotional reads I have ever read. It made my heart ache in the worst of ways and in the most beautiful ways it made it full of hope. Sky and Holder will stay with you long after the story is over. I just can't seem to find the words that will do this book justice......

Catherine by April Lindner
***** or more stars I reall liked this stroy a lot!:)

I just finished reading this beautiful story and I am completely blown away at how good it was and how it touched me in ways that surprised me. I have never read Wuthering Heights, but thanks to Mrs. Lindner and her amazing retailing of it I will be reading it next. I am finding it hard to express how much this story touched me maybe it's because I am a sucker for the underdog getting a chance in life and love. I wanted these characters to have a piece of the goodness that the world and life has to offer. Man Mrs. Lindner knows how to squeeze my heart and leave it battered and bruised, yet hopeful. I loved all these characters, the story and the writing, it moved me, touched me and left me wanting for more. One of my very favorite books ever.

overall a clean read

Wake by Amanda Hocking
****

Mermaid stories always intrigue me and this one was no Disney Little Mermaid story. These mermaids/sirens are the real deal beautiful, callers of the men that work the sea, a little intense and crazy. Penn, Lex, and Thea are new to town, and they seem to be a little overly interest in Gemma. Gemma is the girl next door trying to figure out if she is in love with the boy next door. She loves her sister Harper and there family and would do anything to protect the one's she loves. Gemma loves the water, she likes how strong she feels when in it and how it seem to give her piece of mind when she needs to get away from the pressures in her life. One night when Gimma is out swimming Pen, Lex and Thea talk her into swimming out with them to the cove. Gimma follows.....and everything changes.

I really liked this story, I liked that the Sirens had a little bite to them. I liked that Gimma doesn't like her choices or somewhat lack there of, she is a sweet, kind, strong girl. One of my favorite things about Amanda Hocking's writing is her character development. I really loved all of them, Gimma's mom was a cool character and I liked how Gimma goes to her for help, Gimma's mom is not your typical mom. Alex was great as well he is the geek next door, but super sweet, awkward, and courageous in the name of love. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and finding out what happens.

Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines
*****

Well that was a heck of a way to end the first book and rip my heart out for one of the characters. Geeeeeshhhhhhhh!!

Blaire has just lost her mother, there is no one left for her, except her father whom she hasn't seen in five years. She shows up at his door step to find he is off with his wife and won't be back for a few weeks. Rush, Grant, and Nan are her new step siblings and they aren't sure they are glad to have Blaire in their life's. Rush is the son of a famous Rock Star and whose home she will be staying if he lets her, which he does. Rush comes off so cold at times he made me nuts, and at times I really liked him Blair seemed to bring out the worst and the best in him. I think he really started to see how unhappy he was with his life and how shallow he could be, he wanted more he wanted Blaire. Blaire fought her attraction to her non-related step brother, she didn't like how his life style seemed all consuming and snobbish, or the way he treated the women in his life. Yet she was seriously drawn to him, but he has secrets that could affect any chance they might have at a relationship.
These two characters were great they were fighsty, onary , happy, and genuine, I really liked them. Grant was another great character, he is really taken with Blaire and wants to be a good brother, and tries to tell her to be careful around certain people. Nan she was something else grrr.

The ending was oh my heck it can not end like that and make me wait until March, I want happy ever after! Torture!!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
*****

This is not your average love story. Thank goodness!

This story is one of those that you really want to hate, almost, but find you actually love. It was hard to watch all the injustice play out in the story and the selfishness and brutality. BUT. If you break it down to the individual love stories they were crazy beautiful. I enjoyed it!
